Well there's lots happening at Hertford Tyres
Some Garages seem so depressing and cold. To try and take the stress away from the worries of having your car fixed we created a little area away from the hassle and bustle where you may sit, watch TV, read a book or just sit and drink a hot or cold drink from one of our dispensers

Even though we have been around since 1992 we thought we would spread the word further with a Radio advert. This again was to try and stop people being ripped off by "cowboy garages" and there's plenty about in the area ! That's why we joined the Good Garage Scheme, to make us stand above the rest and to say "shame on you!" to those garages that don't care about their customers and just try and make a fast buck! We were the first in Hertford to Join the Scheme, Now there are some other garages that have hopped on the bandwagon, time will tell if they meet the demanding standards set out by the Scheme Most of our customers have been with us from the start. In fact, even their children, who we've seen grow up, now come to us for their repairs and servicing. Our customers don't just come down when they need repairs etc, most just drop in from time to time for a chat and a coffee. Its great to see the kids grow up, they seem like part of our family too !
We also give free lessons on doing "the basics" with your car. As cars have become more complicated and it is getting harder to even find the bonnet pull, why not have a free lesson on how to check your levels and care for your car, and even how to fit your spare wheel, and if you don't have a spare, how to get your car back on the road within 5 mins, This is for both Ladies & Gentlemen so don't feel embarrassed about not knowing, 1/2 hours training could save you a whole lot of problems.
As an Investor in people we have taken on our first apprentice, Alex who some may have already met, fantastic young lad, with a keen attitude towards learning how to become a fully trained Technician. Hertford Tyres sponsors local man for the VTEC Challenge
